Bali

Bali has a spirit all its own. In Ubud, the cultural heart of the island, you will find rice terraces, the Monkey Forest, art villages and traditional dance performances. Temples such as Tanah Lot and Uluwatu sit dramatically above the ocean.

The south is all beaches and sunsets, from Seminyak to Nusa Dua, and day trips reach Nusa Penida's famous cliffs or a sunrise on Mount Batur. Villas with private pools make Bali a favourite for honeymooners.
